Dance & Baton

Dance
Greater Fall River RE-CREATION offers a variety of dance classes for beginners, intermediate dancers, and advanced dancers, of all ages.  Danielle and Cathy are experienced dance and baton instructors that can teach you a diverse range of dances.

Hip-Hop-
Learn basic hip-hop and old school dance moves this fall and/or winter!  We can teach you urban dance moves with a fun flair.

Hip-Hop I: Grades Pre-K - 2
Hip-Hop II: Grades 3-6
Hip-Hop III: Grades 6 and over

Ballet- 
Whether your little ones want to learn the fundamental of ballet, or you want to learn more advanced moves, the Greater Fall River RE-CREATION can teach ballet placement, poise, grace and formal ballet.

Ballet I:  Grades Pre K – 1
Ballet II:  Grades 2 – 4
Ballet III:  Grades 5 and over

Tap- 
This class will teach various skills by combining coordination of simultaneous supper body movements with syncopated rhythm foot movements to provide a fun experience for everyone Grades 1 and over.

Jazz- 
Our Jazz classes will teach you the many styles of jazz dance from jazz hands, kicks, leaps, sideways shuffling, rolled shoulders, and turned knees.

Annual Dance Recital- 
Every June, the different dance classes join together to put on a wonderful night of dancing at our annual dance recital.  Tickets are on sale in the RE-CREATION main office starting May 1st.

Baton 
Learn the art of twirling a baton while learning choreographed body movements and coordinated routines, similar to rhythmic gymnastics or color guard.

Itsy Bitsy Baton-
Have your little one learn the basic fundamentals of baton twirling and body movements for children grades Pre K- 1.

Baton Novice- 
Develop poise and confidence in learning rhythm through baton twirls and dance moves, for grades 1-5.

Baton Intermediate- 
For the more experienced baton dancer, learn advanced baton twirling and dance moves; for grades-6-12
